Kids on the Bridge
I recently spent a month in Siem Reap and working while visiting the sites and having some incredible downtime.
While I was there I was lucky enough to meet an
Cambodia is a world away from the life we’re all used to, yet Kevin’s pub does its best to bridge that gap and put his singing and songwriting talent to bring in the passing customers (me included).
Every night Kevin and his pub team cook meals for starving Cambodian street children, which is often the only meal they’ll eat all day. What started as an act of kindness from a man who saw helpless mouths that needed feeding, has since spiralled into a charity which over the past four years has provided over 15,000 meals. That’s 15,000 full stomachs. 15,000 lives bettered.
I ended up spending every day at Kevin’s Vagabond Pub and met first hand some of the children he helps, eventually pulling together a little film which I’d like to share with you all.
